Early retirement may ease plant closing

Workers at Delphi's instrument panel plant here in Adrian are eyeing early retirement packages as the bankrupt auto supplier prepares to either sell or close the facility on E. Beecher Street.
To no avail, Delphi had tried to sell the plant of 380 employees five years ago.
At least 10,000 Michigan workers may be out of jobs before it's all said and done.

Early retirement with no health care. Not a good deal when you fulfilled 20+ years of your obligations and the company avoids theirs.
